this was a bit surprising when 2 days ago I just opened the tv and saw the top.. the first number I saw was number 22 and it was PLACEBO with BLACK MARKET MUSIC! I was really surprised and happy.. they played slave to the wage... and afterwards the guys spoke for about 2-3 minutes about the cure's album Desintegration which was at number 19 I really think that Placebo (the first album) must be in the top somewhere.. and I'm gona try to catch the whole countdown today!

i havent seen it, but surely 'Placebo' would have been rated higher that 'BMM'. For one thing 'BMM' is always being called their worst album to date!(by critics, that is.)
yeah, i love BMM. Tho it was the last of their albums that i bought. I love blackeyed, special k, commercial for levi, peeping tom, days before you came and spite and malice. i don't reckon its my fave album tho' - tho' it would be hard to name my fave.
damm! how could i forget slave to the wage?! hmm, the new album. when will it see the light of day. i wonder whether its being made? being that they are on holiday til june time i doubt we will see it before xmas next year. ah well, im sure it will be worth the wait. it would make sence if its released then, because the new tour would begin then to celebrate its release. less than a year to go now then...!
hmm...as the year ended MTV also made a countdown of the 100 more wanted songs...and Placebo made it with Twenty Years at number 70!!! it was great, because the list was filled with stupid pop stuff, and they were one of the few that really deserved to be there. Franz Ferdinand, The Cure, and Green Day also were there
