i think this is a very intresting album for some reason.
commercal for levi is pretty cool lyricly, i think bri is singing on how he did something really wrong but a friend/band member slapped him out of it. so the name explains it self really,

When i heard commercial for levi i thought about a girl whos life seems to have gone wrong, and he's talking about her trying to kill her self and he's saying "don't die don't die" and all she has to do is sort out her life and it'll be ok

i thought it was about bri doing drugs and one of his friends about to strangle him because he wouldn't listen and then did... hope that made scence.

I think this is a great idea Meg, it's cool finding out how each of us perceives each song, we all hear the same song in different ways. Maybe you should post one song at a time and then we could say what we think it's about and how we feel about it.

I read in an interview it was called com for levi because one of the roadies called levi saved bri from dying (think it was cause bri was drunk and almost got run over) anyways it was a major turning point for him and promised to name a song after levi. I think its bout realising when youve/another person realises they/you have gone to far and if you/they dont stop soon it will evtually lead to premature death

heard the drunk part, but he passed out and nearly coked on his own vomit. i dunno, but i kno he could of died
Even though i understand Brian's idea for the song i think it can also be about someone having a struggle with their sexuality and become so torrmented that they turn to drugs and alcohol to try and cover the thoughts they are having. And so caught up in the drug and alcohol abuse they have reached the brink phyisicaly and mentaly, just a completely lost person.

sounds a little like bri, but its weird how he's survived it. even my dad said he's suprized he's not dead. lets hope he has a little more commen scence and doesn't do it

Thats my favourite verse. It makes me laugh, the sweetness of the melody which contrasts to the harsh imagery. I think theres something in the use of "you should close your fly", its a bit "look before you leap", if you get what I mean.
