PLACEBO star BRIAN MOLKO has helped develop a new foundation which specialises in organising major live events to raise funds for disaster victims.
Following the success of fundraising concerts for the Indian Ocean tsunami survivors, the NANCY BOY singer has teamed up with British DJ PETE TONG, record producers and label bosses to form the PLAYING ALIVE FOUNDATION, which will use live events to benefit victims of natural and man-made disasters in the third world.
Music extravaganzas already planned under the scheme in Britain this year (05) include JAZZ AID and a TRIBAL GATHERING dance event, both of which will raise money for the war torn Darfur region of Sudan.
Molko says, "We wholeheartedly support the great fundraising efforts of Playing Alive in response to the humanitarian disasters in Darfur and elsewhere in Sudan."

Could be Placebo, could be the organisation. Odd though, the article seems to imply just him, but it'd be really odd not to have the other two helping as well..
