i like any make up on him. but his eyes in that vid, they look goergous

during the slw period the makeup artists really seemed to accentuate his eyes. before that they seemed to focus on his lips, especially during the bmm stage. the wyian era seemed very gothic and the placebo period was very colourful and naive. i think ts all part of the placebo timeline, progressing slowly. you have the naivity which slowly, through each album, transforms. i think that the emphasis around his eyes show him as being wise - people often say that eyes can reflect wisdom or experience, and that they are the windows to the soul. i think its all very symbolic for reflecting brian's personal journey.

never noticed this before, i'll keep an eye out. i liked the SWG era, it was the short hair to that brought out his eyes. but he got bored with it and got the mullet which i don't mind, i like this picture. the clothes are cool

yeah I don't reallly like the 97 ones. i think i only saved one of those to my computer. but there are tonnes of bri closeups on the later buzzcocks ones, those i like!
