Hey Franz, when my uncle takes me to see the cure in concert (no dates confirmed officially yet - UK tour yet to be organised) you should come! would be cool! me, you, my aunt and uncle and their friend lol what a weird concert!
Well I did have Green Day's latest album (AI) on, with 'Give me Novacaine' on repeat, but I kept singing along and had to turn it off. The lyrics are so cute:
"give me a long kiss goodnight and everything will be alright, tell me Jimmy i wont feel a thing" *melts at the gorgeous-ness of billie joe armstrong*
I now have The Cure Gr8est Hits on :) Boys Don't Cry
OOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh In my taxi on the way back from school, they had radio 2 on and as we were going out of the school gates 'Friday I'm In Love' was put on! woohoo! made my day. The DJ said "thats our mate Bob Smith there, great song!" I love Radio 2!
K! Now I have 'A Forest' on. Basically I will listen to the whole CD lol!
It's odd for me too really, never saw myself as terribly paternal but now I find myself reading bedtime stories to this tiny little person smiling from her pink room. Last night I was reading from The Little Mermaid...when she's older I'll unleash the glorius poetical trio that is Baudelaire, Blake and Brooke.
Just this evening she said "Francis, I don't want you to die in the army."
I say "It's ok, I'm sure I won't die in the army. It'll be fine."
S: "How do you know?"
F: "Because I'll try not to die, I'll try very hard indeed.."
Maybe I need to start a family someday.
*sigh*

I'm forever singing, outloud and in my head hehe! That link would be amazing rocio! whenever you are able!
its such a beautiful song, if any of you watch distant shores..its when the mother kissed that man..it was in the background...heres the lyrics:
You'll walk unscathed through musket fire, No ploughman's blade will cut thee down, No cutless wound will mark thy face And you will be my ain true love, And you will be my ain true love
And as you walk through death's dark veil, The cannon's thunder can't prevail, And those who hunt thee down will fail, And you will be my ain true love, And you will be my ain true love.
Asleep inside the cannon's mouth, The captain cries, "Here comes the rout," They'll seek to find me north and south, I've gone to find my ain true love.
The field is cut and bleeds to red. The cannon balls fly round my head, The infirmary man may count me dead, When I've gone to find my ain true love, I've gone to find my ain true love
