oh, my brother came home yesterday to a party!!!...(long story) we took some stupid pics..(maybe I'll post them later ) and as a b-day present he gave me The Cure's Trilogy DVD and a bootleg with Placebo's performance at Rock am Ring '03!! (tho I haven't had the time to watch them..)

and he also gave my sister (for her b-day) Mew's Frengers and My Bloody Valentine's Loveless

Wow!!! that is cool, tell him that i'm sending him my birthday list of goodies I was thinking about getting the Cure dvd too and i think i saw a bow set of Cure songs...like remixes and acoustic tracks

Will you let me know all about them when you watch them?

(so I can't watch the Placebo one for now..

I'm feeling soo good!! well, the thing is, that cmerepaul (a member of the IMB [Interpol Message Board]) does some contests ('Pol related) and the past contest for April was about Carlos (hmm...I'm expert in that subject.., yeah sure ) -because of his Birthday, of course- and well, guess what?!?

..I won!! well, that made me really happy, cause, well, cmerepaul said that every participant was gonna win something, cause only 11 people dared to answer it (it was quite tough, really, even for moi, that I Carlos so much) and well, my prizes are: the C'mere single (the one including Carlos' remix of Public Pervert), and a poster of the URB mag cover, -the one that has Carlito on it -.

ah...those news simply made my day

ticked off!!!! sam will not piss off and leave me alone!!!! he has been calling me multiple times a day, constantly harrassing me on msn and sending me sms after sms after sms. I dont have the time to be constantly on the phone listening to him go on and on and on and on about the same sh*t day in day out. Doesnt he have other friends to bug? i was good friends with him last year when we saw each other about once a week, but all of a sudden over the past couple of weeks it has been CONSTANT. I didnt mind at first cos he was upset, but now its just annoying me. He goes on about the same thing everytime we tlk - i want to slap him and tell him if she doesnt like him then MOVE ON. I can do absolutely nothing about it - i dont even know the girl!!!! Not to mention sulking to me is not exactly going to get her. If he wants to fricking ask her out then he can go ask instead of wasting my time. Sorry, needed to rant..... there is only so much i can take, and im not a fan of people who complain about their problems for weeks on end when they do absolutely nothing to change their situations. A few days i can handle - depending on the problem even up to a week, but this has been non stop. i have no break from him, i cant take it any longer. i used to care, but he has used up patience

anyway...argh...I'm having exams...today I had my physics and accountancy tests...the first one was quite easy..but the accountancy one..

and tomorrow I have a math and literature exam..

today my prizes (from cmerepaul's 'Pol play contest) arrived!! I love so much the C'mere single (especially cause it contains Carlos' and Sam's remixes

)....and I almost drooled all over the Carlos poster..

he's just so gorgeous!

ok, well, I also feel kinda honoured, because cmerepaul (from the IMB) asked me to contribute with a member bio (of Interpol, of course) she's writing for her webpage. And I have to write something sort of an essay, so she can take some quotes from it, and well, I feel honoured about it because, she isn't asking everybody to do that for her, just serious and articulate fans *blushes* and because the opportunity of colaborating in the bio of one of your favorite bands isn't something that happens everyday

sorry I didn't replied until now...I watched the The Cure DVD right away (cause it was the only one my PC would accept, it wouldn't read the Placebo one, cause it was a bootleg...

anyway, I loved it, they're so awesome live, I loved One Hundred Years from the Pornography set, and from the Disintigration set, I especially liked Lullaby, cause the whole band was smiling at each other, and..I don't know, it was really good. From the Bloodflowers set..I don't know which one I liked the most, I highly recommend it

just today I watched the Placebo one (@ Rock am Ring) and I must say..it was *how can I say it without repeating myself..?* incredible, I really have to say this again: they are ****in excellent live! and I loved Xav's performance, it was really good (plus he looked gorgeous...)

and as I had some time left, I finally watched the The Libertines DVD. awww I loved it, it breaks my heart to see Pete and Carl together, having fun like the best friends they were, cause now they're separated, and it makes me think about if I lost Marisol (I'll better not think about that )..anyway, I really loved the 'In the van' video, it's soo lovely to watch Pete and Carl singing...together, laughing, and then, the four of them singing (yeah, they make the perfect group of friends singing while drunk ) *sighs* why do they had to broke? I loved it so much an interview that said Carl had put an ending line to Pete, he had to choose, either him (Carl & The Libertines) or drugs, and Pete's answer was: "I chose Carl" *awwwww* but now that seem to have faded away

...she was also the responsible for me to own the Song Seven @ La Route du Rock video. She's way too cool

woohoo!! two days ago I contacted cmerepaul (IMB) cause I had some doubts about how you could get to be a Carlos D minion...so...she said she'll reserve a number for me, and then she'll send me my Minion logo to iron-on on a shirt....

aww....guys..I've been kinda sick..and the worse part is that I started feeling bad since Sunday..and this week I had my final exams..
the only good thing is that I was exempted on 6 of 10 subjects

..so today was my last exam...but yesterday I felt awful..my throat hurted like hell..I had a headache and I had fever..AND I had to study for a physics test..*sighs* right now I'm recovering..watching pics of Carlos helps, you know?

oh, btw..it has been really really hot here...but today rained..

I am feeling relieved as I have two days before my penultimate exam. So some revision time yay! I had two days of exams so I didn't have much inbetween time to refresh on my subject.

hmm...I wanted to post this...since sunday..I think it was also something that cheered me up :

well...finally Telehit (a music channel aka Tele**** by me) aired the Placebo special (that included their last visit to our lovely country, Mexico) the good memories came back (tho they only recorded the concert at Mexico and bits of the one in Guadalajara, not in Monterrey <- the one I attended AND the best of the three ) but anyway..it was ok..I think...but the subtitles completely sucked!! they messed up with letters, wrote "English Summer Rian", wrote Breathe instead of Breed (remember Steve's band?) and the "fans" Claudio (the VJ doing the interview) interviewed were just posers.. what about the STAK?? they should have played the whole concert and not only bits...and playing videos for some songs? why didn't they played the recording of those songs live? ...but I also liked the part where Brian (on the interview) said: "Hate comes from fear, and fear comes from lack of understanding..." or something like that..

the best thing is that Brian's vocabulary in spanish is getting better, Brian learned to say "chingón wey" !!! (finally a new phrase that's gonna replace "cojones" and "me cago en la leche" haha
..but really, it would have been better if they had also recorded the concert from Monterrey..it was great I loved it

AND....Claudio 'interviewed' Xavier and Donován at the signature session on Guadalajara!! (Xavier is one of the founders of the STAK, Donován is also a member of the club) ah...Xavier is getting famous

im going out with someone, but i like someone else who aparently likes me! which is...well...annoying seen as before they said they wanted nothing to do with me..so...hm...ahwell..hope you guys are all great!

ah..I'm feeling very good right now...as I've said, I needed some time to chill out after the 'Pol-Play, and I just relaxed a little. I was lying on my bed, listening to Depeche Mode's Violator, my eyes closed...*sighs* it really seems to have worked, cause I feel very good and relaxed

...it was also sort of a creative moment, cause many ideas came up to me

I'm feeling a bit down at the moment. I really like a certain someone (can't mention names) and I had a great night with them a few nights back and I spoke to them on msn earlier and now I feel lonely. But I can't call them or text them cuz I don't want to seem clingy. We aren't dating and I don't think we will as he lives too far away But I'm sure I will get over it.

Dub that video of Live 8 has really helped me. I had forgotten some of Placebo's magic but it brought a smile to my face. I cried, but I felt comforted. Thankyou

argh, well...I'm not exactly ok...on Monday I got awful news..Placid (Placid Ydil Grindylow from the STAK) had an accident..she was a little delicate on the hospital, but hopefully she'll get better soon *prays for her* I really don't want anything bad to happen to her...she's a friend, artist and fundamental member of the STAK (an artist because she writes a lot of poetry and other stuff..)

great news!! Placid came back and she's ok!! that makes me as happy as hell, well, she says she has some scars on her arms, a huge scar on her leg and another one on her face (!!)..also her hips hurt very bad..but she's fine
