How come when any decent topic crops up no one contributes? You know, things a tad more relevant and interesting than 'What song are you listening to NOW?' and 'How are you feeling?'

Hello there, i've not been on for a while as it seemed to go dead i thought that it was the re-opening of the Archive (which i still can't get into).

Hanna started this board in August last year, i just checked on the list of users and she's been a member since then. So it was last year that we lost PA, i'm not too chuffed, i sent money and now i can't get into the new site. I wrote to Matrix asking if i could have a confirmation of account link last month.........still waiting

We should get this board moving again, we can go other places for pix of Placebo.

Helgz I agree, its really hard to get into the new PA. I am hoping that loads of people will join then maybe I will try and get into it properly. But to be honest, I prefer it here.

Clo I agree that Lucille was silly about the money thing. When it closed down she put up that message saying that only a few people cared enough, but I wasn't able to send money without my parents help. Nevermind

Yeah Helgz we need to ressurect this place. Poor Dub still comes on here loads, I try to visit once a day, but not much is happening in Placebo world lately. *sigh* I think things will hot up again when they get some new music out. Okay if the album is out in 2006 then surely they will release the first single late 2005. That should make a bit of a stir right?

yeah, I'm pretty sure that when Placebo release the new album this place will be as active as it was some time ago

I still like coming here (as you might have already noticed..) but yeah, it's been quite quiet around...

hm...oh, yeah..the PA closed on August 13th...yeah, I'm pathethic, I remember the date and all...I also liked it, but now that it has re-opened...well, I don't know, I don't feel so attracted to it..I haven't entered the site in some time..and well, I think this site is like the best that was on the PA, everything is here!

oh, btw...I just got some new files...just give me some time for me to upload them (haha...me doing promotion to the links thread )

No, i won't be trying to join PA again, this is The Placebo place now. You know it's only gonna be a matter of time before it will all go the same way on PA and i'm not sending out any more money. I think if your gonna build a site and you know it's gonna cost then your responsible for it...if you can't pay, it's no-one else's fault.

I joined PA ages ago, and i think ive been there about 2 or 3 times. I didnt really like it - i just got lost trying to read everything and what not. I love this place, despite my absence... but im trying to come here when time allows

now unis over for the semester i should have more time to keep up to date and what not

i hardly go on PA...noone ever goes on there, and its just not the same as it used to be. it's like trying to bring a person back to life, it just doesnt happen.
but then again, it may be having the same problem as P'fans is having...so maybe when the new album comes out it'll have new members and stuff.

Oh and Helgz is absolutely right. Sort of goes with my point of Lucile being a bit of an idiot, starting a site then making us feel bad about not paying up for something she was soley responsible for.

What's the new PA like? Could someone link me up?

yeah when i first joined i'd get up really early to go on and talk to everyone and go on it straight away when i got home...but now it's like i go on it once every couple of weeks..i dunno..it just isnt the same
