It was nearly 8 years ago when Placebo first picked up the Kerrang! Best British Band Award. Since then the band have been nominated for various other Kerrang! awards and attended countless award shows. The winners of this year's awards will be announced on 25 August, and Placebo have been nominated in the Best British Band category for 2005.

^ all the nominees are a joke. The only good band I could find out there was Placebo..the rest are crap.


umm..they got also nominated for Best UK Band on MTV Germany...go here to vote (the first option is for the Best American Band *cough*Interpol*cough*, the second is for Best German *cough*Kraftwerk*cough*, the third one is the UK category...)
